This is a quick fix pulav I make whenever I want to cook something in a hurry or when I am not in a mood to cook an elaborate meal. It's delicious, filling and wholesome too. 😊 Normally, I serve it with Boondi Raita on the side.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash the rice well, soak the rice in water for 15-2O mins
You can reserve the water used to wash the rice and water your Curry Leaf (Curry Patta) plant with it to make it grow greener, thicker & shinier.
* Step 2
Keep the whole garam masalas ready, slice the onions, cube the potatoes & wash the peas.
* Step 3
After 15 mins, heat Ghee in a pan, add all the whole spices and allow them to crackle for a few seconds.
* Step 4
Add the sliced onions, saute until light golden brown.
* Step 5
Add the potatoes, mix well for 2 mins.
* Step 6
Add the peas, mix well. Add salt & the sugar.
* Step 7
Add the soaked & drained rice. Mix & saute for 1-2 mins.
* Step 8
Add water, you can also add the water used for soaking, usually I add a little more than double the quantity of rice. Cover & cook in the same pan on low heat for 15 mins till done or in an electric rice cooker.
* Step 9
Serve with Boondi Raita, Papad & Pickle of your choice.
