* Step 1

Remove the skin of ridge gourd, wash and chop into 2-3 inches. Grated ginger.

Heat oil and bay leaf in a kadhai. Add ponch phutan and allow it to crackle. Add cut green chilli and chopped onion.

Saute till onions are golden and aromatic. Add the poppy seeds powder and water.

Roast popy seeds paste and grated ginger on low flame till aromatic. Add chopped turai, potato chunks, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Cook on medium to low flame, continue mixing the veggies.

* Step 1

Arrange the required ingredients first. Heat 2 Tbsp mustard oil and fry six pcs of marinated rohu fish from both the sides. Set aside.

In the same fry pan heat 2 Tbsp mustard oil, add ponch phutan and allow it to crackle. Add chopped onion, green chilli chopped garlic and green chilli. Saute till aromatic and onion are translucent.

Then add chopped tomato salt, a pinch of turmeric powder and boiled stems of saag. Cook on low flame till tomatoes are mushy.

Add the mustard masala paste and half a cup of water for gravy. Allow to boil. Add already fried fish to the mustard paste gravy and cook for a minute.

Heat oil, splutter ponch phutan add and add the onion masala paste along with tomato puree. Add coriander powder, cumin powder and chilli powder. Mix well and cook the masala on low flame for 3-4 minutes.

Then add meat masala powder and salt and turmeric powder. Add boiled eggs and potato to the cooked masala.
