Homemade strawberry jam ๐Ÿ“

I found very cheap and fresh strawberries in a fruit and vegetable shop in Bedminster, so I bought 4 packs and used half of them to make this jam!

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 jar (300g)

Cooking time :

1.5 hours

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Sanitize your empty jar and lid. Please see how to do it from the link Iโ€™m attaching.

* Step 2

Remove the stems from the strawberries and rinse them in water. Lift them into a colander.

* Step 3

Add strawberries, sugar and lemon juice into a pot. Leave it for 30 mins until the sugar dissolves and the juice comes out from the strawberries.

* Step 4

Simmer over medium heat. Scoop the yuck from the strawberries. It takes around 30-40 mins until it becomes jam, but never stay away from the hob as it can boil over.

* Step 5

Put the jam in the jar while itโ€™s still hot. Cover with a lid while itโ€™s still hot. Once it cools down, store in the fridge.
