Homemade rhubarb jam

Rhubarb is now in season in UK (mid Feb 2022). I bought this rhubarb from @GloucesterRdFruits in Bristol.

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 small container

Cooking time :

1 hour
1 table spoon

Lemon juice

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare 2 fresh rhubarb and slice into 3mm pieces.

Add sugar and lemon juice to the chopped rhubarb, mix well and leave it for 30 mins.

* Step 3

Bring to a boil, then cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Be careful not to burn it.

* Step 4

Once the sauce becomes thick, remove from the heat and save in a sanitized container.
