Easy breakfast scones

I woke up at 8:30 on Sunday, noticed that the scone contest is running in Cookpad so I checked if I have necessary ingredients in my refrigerator. And yes, I had! Just need milk, sugar, baking powder, all purpose flour and butter!! Just mix and bake them in the oven and I could have my breakfast ready before 9:30! This time, while I was baking, I went to the convenience store near my house to buy a whipped cream. But if you don’t have it, you can just enjoy with anything such as chocolate paste, jam or honey! #sekones #goldenapdon2020

Ingredient

20 mins preparation, 20 mins baking
100 cc

Fresh milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Sieve flour, baking powder and sugar together.

Cut the butter into pieces and cook them in the refrigerator. Once they become cold, add them in to the bowl of flour, baking powder, sugar and mix well with hands.

Add cold milk and mix with spatula.

Put the dough together by hands and stretch it to a thickness of 2.4 cm height. Cut in your favorite shape with knife. Do not touch or you don’t need to make the side parts look beautiful(Just leave it after you cut and that is a key to have a successful cracks on side).

Apply some milk on the surface of the scones and smooth the dough. Bake them for 20mins in the pre heated oven(190℃).

Whip the cream.

Serve with your favorite jam!!
