Chapati Ladoo

#Dussehra This is my childhood favourite recipe. After making all kinds of laddus for Diwali, I thought of making this simple one. This laddu is easy to make and it is perfect as a lunch box recipe! The combination of jaggery, dry coconut, cardamom and the chapati makes this dish extremely delicious! You can even re-use leftover chapatis to make this laddu.

Ingredient

jaggery

1/2 tsp

poppy seeds

1 tsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

To make chapati Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough water. Divide the dough into 6 portions and roll out each portion of the dough using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.Heat a non-stick griddle on a high flame and when hot, place the roti gently over it. Cook till light brown in colour both the sides. Keep aside for five minutes.

* Step 2

Method to make ladoo Now take a mixer and put all the above laddu ingredients and pulse for a minute. Now break the cooled chapatis into small pieces and add to the laddu ingredients and pulse for another 1 minute and bind them into laddus. Enjoy!!
