[easy & healthy] Salmon takikomi gohan

Takikomi gohan is a Japanese rice dish. The ingredients are steamed together with rice. You’ll see just how easy it is to prepare healthy food on your own!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rinse the rice and put it in the multi-cooker. Add 1 1/2 cup of water (same amount as rice) as well.

* Step 2

Chop all the veggies into small cubes. This time I put more zucchini as it's been stored in the fridge for long. You can replace it with other vegetables, e.g. cabbage.

* Step 3

Put all the prepared veggies in the multi-cooker.

* Step 4

Put the salmon in the upper layer of the cooker. Close the lid and turn the cooker on for 12 mins. When cooking is done, don't open the lid. Wait for another 15 mins, the steam inside can continue cooking the food. If you are using a rice cooker, just put the salmon in and select the normal cooking mode.

* Step 5

Open the lid and remove the salmon skin. Add soy sauce (for salty taste), sesame oil (for fragrance), and white sesame, then mix all ingredients.
