Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly in a pressure cook toor dal and for 5 whistles.
Now in another kadhai heat 1 tbsp ghee and splutter 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp jeera, 1 dried red chilli and pinch of hing.
* Step 2
Add in onion followed by ginger garlic paste and green chilli. saute well.
further add turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder. saute on low flame.
* Step 3
Additionally add tomato and saute till it turns soft.
* Step 4
Simmer for 5 minutes or till dal turns smooth and absorbs flavour.
Now add garam masala, coriander and crushed kasuri methi.
