Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly in a pressure cook toor dal and  for 5 whistles. Now in another kadhai heat 1 tbsp ghee and splutter 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp jeera, 1 dried red chilli and pinch of hing.

* Step 2

Add in onion followed by ginger garlic paste and green chilli. saute well. further add turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder. saute on low flame.

Additionally add tomato and saute till it turns soft.

* Step 4

Simmer for 5 minutes or till dal turns smooth and absorbs flavour. Now add garam masala, coriander and crushed kasuri methi.
