Ingredient

1.5 cups

maida

1 cup

sugar

1/4 cup

curd

1/4 teaspoon

cardamom powder

1/2 teaspoon

baking powder

1/4 Cup

ghee

1/2 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large bowl add Maida half teaspoon sugar baking powder and mix well

* Step 2

Now add ghee and mix until it is crumbley

* Step 3

Add curd and mix well

* Step 4

Add 1/4 cup water or as required to form a dough without kneading,cover with the moist cloth and rest aside for 15 minutes

* Step 5

Slightly knead the dough make rough lemon sized balls

* Step 6

Make dent at the centre with thumb

* Step 7

Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup. dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup water

* Step 8

Add saffron and mix well. Cook until 1 string consistency is achieved

* Step 9

Switch off. Add cardamom and mix well

* Step 10

Deep fry over low medium heat until golden brown and crispy

* Step 11

Immediately drop badushas in prepared sugar syrup

* Step 12

Garnish top with chopped cashews and serve
