Sabudana –makhana kheer

In dussehra holidays i tried this Sabudana –makhana kheer.because of makhana powder ,adds to it ,it's taste was amazing.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash Sabudana in water and drain. Soak Sabudana in water for 2 hours.It will absorb almost all the water and the size will increase.

* Step 2

.Heat the milk in a heavy bottomed pan over medium flame.

* Step 3

When milk comes to boil add lotus seeds powder, roasted lotus seeds and cook on low flame stirring constantaly for 5 minutes

* Step 4

Add chopped almonds and cashewnuts.

* Step 5

Add soaked Sabudana.Cook them until they turn transparent and soft for around 5-8 minutes, make sure to stir continuously.

* Step 6

Add sugar to it & let Stir continuously and cook until milk turns thick. It will take approx. 5 minutes.

* Step 7

Turn off the flame and transfer prepared Sabudana-makhana Kheer to a serving bowls.

* Step 8

Garnish it with sliced almonds,cashewnuts,saffron and pistachios and serve warm or chilled.
