Thịt rửa sạch cắt miếng vuông vừa ăn. Hành tỏi bóc vỏ, băm nhỏ. Ướp thịt với 2 muỗng súp nước mắm, 2 muỗng súp đường, 1 muỗng cà phê muối, 1/2 lượng hành tỏi băm, để 60 phút cho thịt thấm gia vị. Cho dầu ăn vào nồi, dầu nóng cho 1/2 lượng hành tỏi băm còn lại vào phi thơm, sau đó cho thịt vào đảo đều.
