Vegetable Fried Rice

Vegetable Fried Rice

soya sauce

1 tsp

vinegar

1/2 tsp

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. In a pan take 3 cups water and let it come to boil. Add in drained basmati rice, 1 tsp oil and cook the rice until al dente. Drain the rice completely and allow it to cool.

* Step 2

In a wok/kadai heat oil. Add in finely chopped garlic and sauté until aromatic. Add in chopped onion, capsicum and sauté for a minute.

* Step 3

Add in chopped carrots, beans and sauté for 2 minutes. (Add in vegetable that take more time to cook first). Then add chopped cabbage and sauté until half cooked. Vegetables should stay crunchy.

* Step 4

Add in soya sauce, vinegar, sugar and mix. Add in cooked and cooled rice, salt, pepper powder and mix well. Fry the vegetable fried rice for 2-3 minutes without breaking the grains.

* Step 5

Serve hot Vegetable Fried Rice along with Paneer Manchurian or Gobhi Manchurian.
