Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a pan take sugar, water along with saffron strands, and crushed cardamom. Put it on medium flame and let it boil for 3 minutes. Switch off the flame and set it aside.
* Step 2
Trim the edges of bread slices and cut them into triangles. Heat a pan, add ghee and toast the bread slices on each side until golden and crispy. Remove onto a plate.
* Step 3
Immerse toasted bread slices in sugar syrup one after the other and arrange it on a serving plate.
* Step 4
Just before serving pour almond Rabri on sweetened bread slices and garnish with chopped pista and almonds.
* Step 5
Serve Shahi Tukda warm or chilled.
