I love apple pie 🥧 but had only two apples at home left, so it was not enough for a large apple pie, so thought why not make Apple Pie Pocket.
Four of it finished as soon it was out of oven and rest within few hours! 😀

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel and cut the apples into very small pieces. Add in lemon juice, Gur/ jaggery powder, Cinnamon powder, vanilla powder, and mix. Keep it aside for 15 minutes or so to macerate. Add cornflour and mix, add little water too.
* Step 2
Put on the flame and start cooking it. When it starts boiling, lower the flame and cook, stirring frequently, add in the butter too and a pinch of salt, cook till the water reduces and it thickens for about 10 minutes. Once done, let it cool to room temperature.
* Step 3
Preheat the oven at 205 °C (450°F). Take out the chilled Puff pastry squares, add about a spoonful and seal it. Use a fork to press all around the edges and make perforation on top. Keep it on the prepared baking tray and finish doing it for all. Give a milk wash (or eggwash) and bake it for 15-20 minutes.
* Step 4
Let it be on the tray for about 5 minutes and then put it on a wire rack to cool a bit. Serve warm. It's best when eaten warm.
