Ingredient

3/4 cup

milk powder

1/2 cup

maida

2 tbsp

ghee

as required

Milk (as needed)

as required

Oil for frying

2 cups

sugar

2 cups

water

1/4 tsp

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl take a milk powder, maida and baking powder. Mix well

* Step 2

Now add ghee and mix to make the flour moist. Also add milk to make a dough.

* Step 3

Do not knead the dough. Cover and rest it for 10 minutes.

* Step 4

Now prepare the sugar syrup using the above ingredients.

* Step 5

Mix well and boil 5 minutes to make the sugar turns sticky.

* Step 6

Turn off the flame and add 1 tsp lemon juice.

* Step 7

Use the dough and pepare small ball sized jamuns.

* Step 8

Now deep fry the jamuns in medium flame oil and stir continuously.

* Step 9

Fry until the jamuns turn golden brown.

* Step 10

Now transfer the jamuns into a hot sugar syrup.

* Step 11

Cover and rest for 2 hrs until jamuns absorb the sugar syrup.

* Step 12

You can also enjoy GULAB JAMUN with ice cream.
