Dahi bhalla is popular north Indian food
This is loved by all and is a perfect inclusion to any festive menu.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Clean and Wash the dal and soaked into water both separately for 3-4 hours. Then drain all the water and Grind them separately by adding little water and make a smooth paste.
* Step 2
Now transfer them into a mixing bowl add chopped green chillies and ginger. Now whip this batter vigorously to make it light and fluffy.
* Step 3
To check it if the batter is ready to make the vada's, drop a small ball of the batter in a bowl filled with water. If the ball immediately starts to float on top, the batter is perfect to make bhalla.cover the batter and rest it for 10 minutes.
Then add salt and whip again for a minute and dip your finger in water to avoid stick the batter in hand.
* Step 4
Heat the oil on medium flame. Drop the batter one by one to make bhalla and fry them on medium flame.when it turn golden from one side then flip them with a fork.
* Step 5
Fry them till they turn golden brown. Fry all bhalla in batches and transfer in a plate. Allow to cool them completely.
* Step 6
Meanwhile we prepare a masala for dahi. In a bowl add red Chilli powder,cumin powder, chat masala, black salt and regular salt mix well.take lukewarm water add salt and asafoetida mix well.
* Step 7
When bhalla turn cool add them into prepare water and soaked them for 30-40 minutes. After that they turn double in size. Squeeze them lightly and keep aside.
* Step 8
Now in a bowl add curd whisk well,add sugar and little bit black salt mix them.now it's time to presentation.
Take serving plate add 1 tbsp curd place 3 bhallas on it.pour some more curd on the bhalla.
* Step 9
Sprinkle prepared masala,little bit Chilli flakes and salt add green and tamarind chutney
* Step 10
Sprinkle black salt,Chilli flakes and add pomegranate kernels and namkeen sev. Served these bhallas and enjoy.
