Vegetables Navratan pulao

#myzodiac Navratan pulao prepared with dry fruits and fresh veggies is a delicious food. Apart from nice taste and flavor it is best for any special occasion or party.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First wash the rice 2-3 times then soaked into water for half an hour.meanwhile take a pan add ghee.when ghee heated add one onion slices and fry it untill turn golden brown.transfer in a bowl.in the same oil fry all the nuts for 2 minutes on medium flame.transfee in a bowl or plate.

Now take 4 cups water in a wok add 1 cinnamon stick,1 tsp cumin seeds,1 cardamom,2 bay leaf and fennel seeds.bring it a boil.then add soaked rice and 3 tsp salt or as pr taste.cook the rice 80% then strain it.keep aside.

* Step 3

In a wok add oil heat it add all remaining whole spices saute for 5-6 seconds add one onion slices saute untill they turn light brown add ginger garlic paste.saute 12-15 seconds.now add tomatoes and all veggies.add salt and pepper powder.mix gently.cover and cook untill tomato turns soft.cook on high flame for five minutes.

* Step 4

Now add boiled rice mix gently with vegetables.add all fried nuts, mint leaves and fried onion.cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes.turn off the flame. Serve hot and enjoy 🙂
