Homemade Cornflour/Cornstarch

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Remove grains from corns,wash and soak them in water for 2-3hours.
* Step 2
If the grains are hard you may extend the time of soaking.
* Step 3
Now take half of the grains into a grinding jar,add about 1.5 cup water and grind to a smooth consistency.
* Step 4
Grind all grains.Strain through a strainer.Discard the residue.
* Step 5
Now leave the filtered part for 2 hours.
* Step 6
After 2 hours filter out the upper yellow layer.The white cornstarch layer can be see in the bottom.
* Step 7
Spread this white part in a flat thali /plate,and keep in sunlight for 4 hours.
* Step 8
After 4 hours,scratch the corn starch from plate.The inner layer is still wet.
* Step 9
Dry again in sunlight for 2 hours.Now the corn starch is dried.
* Step 10
Grind in a grinder to get a smooth flour.Corn flour /corn starch is ready.
* Step 11
Store in an air tight container and it can be used upto six months.
