Ingredient

Food ration :

1/2 cup

sugar

2 tbsp

lemon juice

1/2 tsp

rock salt

As needed

few mint leaves

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Remove seeds from jamuns,grind to a smooth paste.

* Step 2

Heat a pan,add sugar and 1/4cup water.Heat till sugar dissolves.Add jamun pulp,cook on low flame for about 10 minutes till pulp is thick.

* Step 3

Add salt and cumin powder.Remove frome flame.Strain and let the juice cool.

* Step 4

Add lemon juice.Jamun syrup is ready.Store in a air toght bottle in fridge.

* Step 5

For making jamun sharbat,take 1/4cup jamun syrup in a serving glass.Add mint leaves and few ice cubes.Add chilled water to fill the glass.Add 1tsp lemon juice.

* Step 6

Jamun sharbat is ready.Serve.
