Egg Curry

Eggs are a good source of protein.

Ingredient

Food ration :

3-4 persons

Cooking time :

30-40 minutes
3-4 tbsp

mustard oil

1/2 tsp

ginger paste

as per taste

Salt

1/2 tsp

haldi powder

2 tbsp

dahi

1 tbsp

fresh cream

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take 1 tbsp oil in a pan, heat it. Slit the eggs, fry them till brown.

* Step 2

Now take a wok, add oil, heat it.

* Step 3

Add ginger garlic paste, add lil water also, sauté it for a while.

* Step 4

Add onion paste,also add lil water, stir fry it for a while.

* Step 5

Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until brown.

* Step 6

Add haldi, dhania & red chilli powder, add lil water again, mix it well. Cook it till oil has oozed out.

* Step 7

Open the lid now, increase the flame, add salt & garam masala powder, give a stir.

* Step 8

Now add dahi & cream, mix it well.

* Step 9

Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until oil separates.

* Step 10

Open the lid now, increase the flame, add boiled water accordingly so as to keep gravy a lil thin (not runny).

* Step 11

Give a boil, add eggs, lower the flame, cook it covered till gravy becomes like the consistency you required.

* Step 12

Switch off the flame, open the lid after a while.

* Step 13

Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.

* Step 14

Have it with Roti, Paratha or Nan.
