Gajar ka halwa

Ingredient

1 kg

carrots

1 cup

sugar

1/2 litre

milk

as needed

Chopped nuts

100 gm

khoya

3 tbsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Peel carrots and grate them. Add grated carrots and milk in cooker and pressure cook till a whistle.

* Step 2

Now transfer the content to deep bottom pan, and let it cook at low flame until milk is absorbed completely.

* Step 3

Then add sugar and mix well. Let the water of it dry completely and then add ghee and cardamom powder.

* Step 4

Give a good mix. Add khoya, mix well and serve it hot with sprinkle of chopped nuts
