Rajma is mainly cooked with red kidney beans, onions, tomatoes, garlic and spices. And they go perfectly with rice – white, brown or red is a choice you could make for yourself rajma is loaded with dietary fiber which means it will keep you full for a longer period of time and therefore stop you from overeating and even contributes to weight loss. Furthermore, rajma is enriched with nutrients such as potassium, fiber, zinc, and magnesium.It is the comfort food of many and brought smiles to tons of faces when in low spirits. For those untouched by the phenomenon, rajma chawal is a combination of flavourful kidney beans that are cooked in a curry-like dish and served with steamed rice on the side.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a pot add red kidney beans salt and enough water to boil it fir about 40 to 45 min remove scum during boiling and after boiling reserve almost 1cup of water
* Step 2
In a pot add cooking oil add butter and let it melt add chopped onion and let it light pink or translucent
* Step 3
Now add ginger garlic paste and saute well add all the spices and chopped tomato init let them bhonify until smooth textured curry
* Step 4
Add the boiled kidney beans along with water adjust salt if needed and let it cook for about 20minutes on low simmering flame
* Step 5
Add cream and green chillies in it and mix well add coriander and serve with plain boiled 🍚 rice and enjoy the protein packed lunch with a taste that never compeat
