Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take one cup of chana dal and wash it. Then put it in a pressure cooker and cook it till one whistle. Then take it out and keep it aside to cool down.
* Step 2
Now grind the dal until it becomes a coarse powder.
* Step 3
Take maida in a bowl add salt and two tablespoons of oil in it. Then knead it with water. Rub some oil over the dough. Rest the dough for half an hour.
* Step 4
Now in a pan take green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, black pepper, fennel. Dry roast the spices and grind it into a fine powder.
* Step 5
Add this powder in dal mixture add salt and sugar in it.
* Step 6
Divide the dough into small balls. Take one ball flatten it and fill with one tablespoon of dal mixture. Seal it. Roll it out.
* Step 7
Heat oil in a kadhai fry the puries untill golden brown in colour.
