Lauki ( bottle gourd )Burfi can be prepared on festivals or eaten as a fruit diet on fasts. It is very easy to make, this fibrous and nutritious Lauki ki Burfi can be made for Diwali, your family will surely love it.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan. Then add lauki and keep it boiling in medium flame for 7-8 minutes or until lauki becomes tender.
* Step 2
After some time it becomes little thick then add remaining ingredients one by one.
* Step 3
When we add sugar consistency becomes little runny. Keep stirring it for another 5-6 minutes or until it becomes solid.
* Step 4
Grease the tray and transfer this mixture into it and tap it. Decorate with nuts and kesar threads.
* Step 5
Once this becomes cool then refrigerate it for 2-3 hours. Then take out and cut into desired shape. Lauki Burfis are ready. You can store them in a container but because of milk and khoya its shelf life is only for 3-4 days.
* Step 6
You can have this Burfi in vrat and festivals also. These are homemade and super duper tasty.
