It has numerous health benefits, is detoxifies the body, good for the stomach and liver health, helps in curing hemorrhoids, jaundice, urinary tract infections and reduces the chances of cancer etc. Usually people use mooli, radishes in making mooli ki bhujiya / Moli ke patte ki sabji and salad but throw away the green leaves. Mooli Bhujiya is a very popular stir fry in North India especially in You.P and Ponjab, in which both – the root as well as the leaves are used. Mooli Ki Sabzi can be made either by boiling the chopped vegetable and then stir fry in the tempering. You can directly add the chopped vegetable in the tempering first and then cook till done. Both ways it taste Delicious. Addition of Hing is must as it not only makes it Delicious but also help to digest easily.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

1. Separate the Radish Greens from the Radish. 2. Wash and dry the radish greens. 3. Chop the radish greens to fine pieces. 4. Wash the radish and peel the outer layer. 5. Chop the radish into small pieces.

* Step 2

In a kadhai, using a medium flame, heat the oil.

* Step 3

Add the hing, green chilli, ginger and garlic.

* Step 4

Stir-fry till the garlic turns golden.

* Step 5

Add the radish greens & pieces and mix well and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.

* Step 6

Add the salt, and half cover it till radish green cook.

* Step 7

Turn the heat down to low.

* Step 8

Cook for 5 minutes till the radish greens wilt.

* Step 9

Take off the heat. Cover and set aside for 5 minutes.

* Step 10

Serve warm with hot rotis.

* Step 11
