Instant Carrot Pickle

#goldenapron3 #week10 Instant carrot pickle is super quick and easy to make. Even an amateur cook cannot go wrong with this recipe.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly, in a large pan add 2 tbsp of oil and add ginger slices. (thick pieces of ginger). Then add carrot and saute it. After saute it keep aside.

* Step 2

Heat the same pan add remaining oil wait for 1 minute then add mustard seeds, red chilli, hing and curry leaves. saute till the mustard seeds splutter.

* Step 3

Now add 2 tsp of chilli powder, turmeric powder, mustard powder, fenugreek powder and salt.Give a good mix and switch off the flame.

* Step 4

Now add fried carrot and ginger, vinegar, lemon juice. Then give a good mix. Your carrot pickle is ready. once the pickle is cooled completely transfer to a glass jar. Serve pickle immediately or store in a airtight container.
