Onion pickles

Ingredient

1/4 cup

vinegar

1 tbsp

sugar

1 1/2 tsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Whisk first 3 ingredients and 1 cup water in a small bowl until sugar and salt dissolve.

* Step 2

Cut your onions into julienne strips

* Step 3

Place onion in a jar; pour vinegar mixture over.

* Step 4

Let sit at room temperature for at least 20 minutes.

* Step 5

Cover and chill for 10 minutes before serving

* Step 6

Drain onions before using.
