Bocconcini Bruschetta

#goldenapron23 #week20 #cookpadindia A famous Italian appetizer with the Bocconcini Cheese. It can never get better than this. With the goodness of this flavourful and fluffy little Cheese blobs, it is a scrumptious starter idea for sure. Bocconcini Cheese are small or mini Mozzarella balls. Like any Cheese, they are soft, white and mild. These are small forms of Mozzarella that can be gulped down in one mouthfuls. Hence these are perfect to be added to Salads or as single bite appetizers on sticks with some Basil and Cherry Tomatoes. In this particular version that iam sharing here, I have used them on a Baguette with some fresh sprigs of Rosemary along with the Cherry Tomatoes and the Onions.

Ingredient

Food ration :

5 servings

Cooking time :

10 minutes
2-3 sprigs

fresh Rosemary

1 tsp

Pink Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix in the cherry tomatoes, onion, pepper and salt. Set aside until use.

In the meantime, slice the baguette into 1 inch thick slices or as desired. Apply some garlic butter on both the sides. Toast until crisp and nicely done.

Now top each of the slices firstly with a blob of the bocconcini cheese. Spread it slightly with a spreader.

* Step 4

Now top each with the generous filling of the onion tomato mix. Top with some fresh rosemary. That's it. It's all done. Enjoy!
