Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak black gram over night and boil in the pressure cooker with 2.5 cup of water.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a pan.

* Step 3

Add cumin seeds,black mustard seeds and asafoetida/hing to crackle.

* Step 4

Add curry leaves and fry it.

* Step 5

Add ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,turmeric powder.cumin seeds powder,garam masala powder,green chilli and 2 tbsp water and saute for one to two mins

* Step 6

Add boiled black gram/chana and mix well.

* Step 7

Add 1/2 cup water cover it and cook for 3 mins

* Step 8

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
