Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak chana dal / bengal gram for half an hour.

* Step 2

Add turmeric powder and 1 cup of water and pressure cook for 10 mins

Chop bitter gourd / karela in a round shape and soak in the salted water for half an hour.

* Step 4

Strain and deep fry the bitter gourd / karela.

* Step 5

Heat oil in a pan.

* Step 6

Add tomato,salt,green chili and turmeric powder and cook till tender.

* Step 7

Add boiled chana dal / bengal gram and some water and mix well.

* Step 8

Cook for the mins in a medium flame.

* Step 9

Serve hot with chapati.
