Tomato Rasam

Simple Tomato Rasam without garlic and onion. #masterclass post 03

Toor dhal

1 tsp

Ghee

1 tsp

Termeric

1 tsp

Salt

1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds

500 ml

Water

1 pinch

Asafoetida

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Keep all ingredients ready. Pressure cook toor dhal. Heat the ghee in a pan, cracle musterd and cumin seeds, add chillis and chopped tomatos-Saute till they are soft.

* Step 2

Add cooked toor dhal, termeric, rasam powder, salt, coriander, pepper powder and water.

* Step 3

Allow to boil. Turn off gas and transe rasam to serving bowl. Tomato Rasam is ready.
