Green Beans ham and potatoes

#GlobalApron 2024 week 12. Ingredient green beans. I freeze leftover holiday ham bone leaving some ham on it to use when I make this.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Thaw,drain and wash the beans.

* Step 2

I used my instant pot to pressure cook this meal. Add beans, salt, onions,ham bone, and 1 quart chicken stock for 90 minutes on high pressure. (if your green beans are already cooked cut time to 60 minutes).Let pressure release naturally. Switch to saute and add your halved potatoes cook uncovered til tender about 20 minutes.

* Step 3

Optional stove top method Add all to a stockpot and cook on stove low heat 3-4 hours or until beans are tender. The last hour I add the potatoes to the pot.

* Step 4

I serve with corn bread and green onions.
