Lemon Enthused Olive Oil
I ran out of shop- brought Oil, so decided to make my own. Works out a LOT cheaper!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and dry completely the lemons. Using a sharp knife or potatoe peeler, remove just the yellow part of the lemons. Do NOT use a zester, as you lose a lot of the flavour in the “ spray”.
* Step 2
Pour over the Olive Oil. Warm very very gently, do not boil or even let it bubble. Once warmed, leave the peel for at least 20-30 minutes, or until cold.
* Step 3
Sieve and drain. Put into a clean, dry container.(I re-used the bottle the Oil came from.) Use within 6 months. Enjoy!
