Boiled Chickpeas
This is a quick (you know I love quick meals) way to cook your chickpeas from scratch.
I cook all my chickpeas in one big pot then I pack and freeze them in small packets for ease.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
After sorting and washing chickpeas. Add water to the pot 1 inch above chickpeas. Bring to the boil. Cover kid, remove from heat and let it sit for 1 hour.
* Step 2
After an hour you’ll see the chickpeas have doubled in size. Add more water and bring to boil then cook on low cook for another hour. Then that’s it.
* Step 3
I then pack them in small plastics and freeze them.
