This meal was really important for my family. It was a day where work took me and my husband out of the home and my little boy went back to school. It was a little more expensive than I usually do for us, but I want to try and create a special memory of moving on to our next phase of life. #mycookbook

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Chop the salad and dress with the aioli.
* Step 2
Boil the potatoes with a few sprigs of mint
* Step 3
Fry the steaks just how the family likes them.
* Step 4
Boil the asparagus for about 4 minutes.
* Step 5
Slice and salt the tomatoes to taste.
* Step 6
Enjoy a leisurely meal conversing about our lives outside of the home and starting to make plans for the future.

This wasnt really about how to cook it. I'm just so thankful that things are changing for the better right now and wanted to record a special meal and what it meant to me. I hope anyone reading can share the joy and hope I feel right now and celebrate it in their own way too.
