Beetroot Swirl Cookies
These are easy to make decorative cookies, prepared by rolling two different colored dough. The main ingredients used for the preparation of these cookies is whole wheat flour for its fiber, honey for its mild sweetness and beetroot powder for its color. It can be a healthy snack option with evening tea and coffee.

30 pieces: 5g in weight for each piece.

1.5-2.5 hours
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First of all, melt the butter in a bowl. Now add honey in the melted butter and stir for a while.
* Step 2
In a separate bowl, take 10ml of warm milk and dissolve the beetroot powder in it.
* Step 3
Now, add this milk, wheat flour, and ½ tsp of baking powder into the batter and mix it properly. Make a dough of it and keep it aside.
* Step 4
In another bowl, prepare another dough by repeating the same process without adding beetroot powder.
* Step 5
Refrigerate both the dough separately for 1-2 hours.
* Step 6
Roll both the dough in a 1-2 cm thick and 9-12 inch rectangular sheet.
* Step 7
Flip the plain dough over the colored dough.
* Step 8
Make a roll of it and refrigerate for 1 hour.
* Step 9
Cut into 6 mm thick cookies.
* Step 10
Take a kadai/ Skillet. Cover and preheat it for 10 minutes on low flame.
* Step 11
While preheating, take a steel plate and grease it properly with ghee. Dust the greased plate with flour and keep it aside. Place cookies on the plate
* Step 12
Now, carefully place the plate with cookies in the preheated kadai and bake for 10-15 minutes on a low flame. Cool and serve.

Store the cookies in a airtight container.
