Fig jam

Ingredient

1 kg

figs

500 g

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Pick out the figs that are ripe and strong. Remove the skin, place them in a bowl and mash them..

* Step 2

Place the fig purée in the pot with the sugar and mix.

* Step 3

Boil over medium heat stirring constantly so that it doesn't stick and skim off the foam.

* Step 4

Add the lemon juice torwards the end.

* Step 5

Let the jam cool and store in jars.
