Restaurant style dahi vadas

#GA4 #week13 #Hyderabadi It’s our traditional dish especially in the month of Ramadan . We prepare this dish & relish while we break our fast . It’s super delicious & all time favourite . I just tried it maybe after Ramadan now as we very often try in the other months. Do follow the steps for best results .

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 -3 servings

Cooking time :

30 minutes
2 cups

dal mash

1/2 teaspoon

baking soda

1/2 teaspoon

salt

as needed

Oil for frying

1 cup

water

1/2 teaspoon

cumin seeds (zeera)

1/2 teaspoon

mustard seeds (rai)

2 tablespoons

oil for tempering

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soaked dal for around 2 hours then blend it to a fine paste using very little water as the batter must be thick enough to prepare vadas then add salt, baking soda mix it. Further whisk curd without lumps add water 1 cup then add salt,coriander leaves set aside

In a empty bowl add full water & keep ready further Preheat oil in Kadhai then drop vadas let it fry slightly golden to both sides will frying the stove must be on medium flame so that it won’t be half fried. It will deeply get fried on medium flame. Once the vadas are fried then pop in water for 50 seconds then remove immediately & drop in prepared curd gradually prepare all.

Then do the tempering part set pan on stove then add two tablespoons oil further add dry red chilli, cumin seeds, mustard seeds & curry leaves sauté for a minute then off the flame till then sprinkle turmeric powder & red chilli powder over the dahi vadas then pop all the tempering over it..!

The deliciously awesome dahi vadas are ready to enjoy with friends & family..!
