Beef Stew

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Whisk flour, powdered garlic, salt and pepper. Toss dried beef pieces into mixture until coated
* Step 2
Heat a tablespoon of oil to a smoke in a large skillet. Brown beef, garlic and onions in batches, taking care it does not burn
* Step 3
Once all the beef is browned, bring it but to the saucepan, add tomato paste and stir until coated. Immediately add grated tomatoes, lower heat and allow the mixture to simmer (to cook the tomatoes) for 3minutes
* Step 4
Dissolve bouillon cube into the hot water and add this to the simmering beef. Stir to combine then add carrots and potatoes and stir again. Slow cook on low heat for about an hour or until done and tender and sauce is reduced and thickened
* Step 5
Enjoy with rice or nsima!
