Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, peel out the bitter gourd and make a slit in the center of the bitter gourd and put salt in it and leave for some time so that it's bitterness will go away.
* Step 2
Meanwhile, take other utensil heat 2 tablespoons of oil, add cumin seeds, green chilli and asafoetida to it.Cook garlic cloves, onion until it's colour change to light pink. Add coriander powder, salt, turmeric powder,kasuri methi to it.keep a lid and leave for 5 minutes. Stuffing is ready
* Step 3
Now boil bitter gourd for 10 minutes. Keep aside to cool
* Step 4
Now fill the stuffing in the bitter gourd and seal with thread so that the stuffing will not come out.
* Step 5
Now take other utensil and heat 2 tablespoons of oil add bitter gourd to it.Roast bitter guard until it's colour changes to light brown on medium flame. Remove threads when they cook completely.
* Step 6
Bharva karela is ready to serve.serve with chapati.
