With a little bit of innovative twist by me in the form of usage of Brown Rice flour in these famous flour Fritters, Mysore Bondas with Brown Rice flour are a great way to enjoy the special occasions and holidays as well as the Weekends. These are famous flour dumplings with Curd and some selected spices and are a popular snack from Karnataka State and are also equally famous in Andhra and Telangana too. These are soft from inside and have a crunchy exterior.
These are absolutely yummy with Coconut Chutney alongside and with small pieces of fresh Coconut inside these Dumplings makes them so very extra special and yummylicious.
Though these are crisp from outside they are soft and spongy from inside.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Make a thick yet smooth and a fluffy batter using all the ingredients. Set it aside for 20 minutes or so. Use water as required. But there wouldn't be much use of it as curd is being used here which makes the batter airy and spongy. Use of water is therefore very minimal. Use it accordingly. Use of water also depends on the quality of the flours used.
* Step 2
In the meantime, heat enough oil for frying in a kadai. Drop medium sized balls of equal size either with hands or with the help of a spoon as they rise a little after frying. Wet your hands a little before doing it. Be careful while you do it. Reduce the heat when you drop the balls and then increase it as you start frying.
* Step 3
Deep fry them in batches usually on a low to medium flame but remember that the oil should be sizzling hot. Cook them well on both the sides until golden in colour.
* Step 4
Serve them hot with coconut chutney for a yummy snack, tiffin or even a lovely breakfast. Enjoy! Yum!
