Olive Oil roasted Sweet Potatoes

#cookpadindia Absolutely tempting and irresistible. These are melt in mouth Oven-roasted ones with a superb flavour and texture. My family just loves it. And since Sweet Potatoes are in season now, there's no better time than this to relish them. I had put them whole as they were because they were very small and also thin. But if they are stout, you can cut them in two halves before popping them in the Oven. Take a special note of the time as mentioned here. Yours might take a bit less or a bit more time than mine. That's it. Sprinkle some Chat Masala on top and serve piping hot out of the Oven immediately.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200° and set the timer to about 45 minutes.

* Step 2

Wash and clean the Sweet Potatoes thoroughly to get rid of dirt and grime. Toss them in about a teaspoon or two of Olive Oil. It's absolutely optional. You can skip it.

Arrange them all on a parchment paper-lined baking tray and bake for about 40 minutes. It took me about this long. You can keep a watchful eye over it. It might be done in lesser time. All ovens come with different temperature settings, so it's a must to know yours properly. Serve them as is right away sprinkled with some Chat Masala. Enjoy!
