Rice & Urad dal Idli

#Idli is one of the most healthiest, nutritious and popular South Indian breakfast dish. These are soft, light, fluffy steamed round and nutritious breakfast made with a ground, fermented rice and lentil batter.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak rixe and dal separately for 4 hours. Then transfer it in a mixer and grind to a fine paste. Add salt and keep it overnight for fermentation. It will double in quantity after fermentation.
* Step 2
Now stir the mixture continuously for 5 minutes. It will turn fluffy. Adjust the consistency of batter by adding water if needed.
* Step 3
Now grease the idli mould. Add 1 glass water in pressure cooker and let it boil. Remove whistle from the lid.
* Step 4
Now add 2 tb spoon of batter in each mould and tap it. Place it ib the cooker and steam for 12 minutes on medium flame. Switch off the flame and leave it for 15 minutes.
* Step 5
Now open the lid and let idlis get cool for 2 minutes. Now with the help of knife demould idlis and transfer it in a plate.
* Step 6
Serve these nutritious idlis hot with sambhar and chutney.
