Spicy Paneer Pakora

#givingtuesdays #givebacktocommunity #recipe by #Jyoti Assudani #Snack. #Paneer pakora is a deep fried popular north Indian snack with a crispy outer layer of gram flour and soft and moist paneer from inside.

Ingredient

30 minutes
1 bowl

Gram flour

as needed

water

to taste

salt

1/4 tsp

carom seeds

1 tbsp

lemon juice

200 gm

paneer

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all the ingredients for making batter except water in a mixing bowl. Now add water slowly and stirring it to avoid formation of lumps.

Make a batter of pouring consistency and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Cut paneer in pieces. Sprinkle chaat masala. Apply green chutney on one side and place another piece of paneer over it.

* Step 4

Heat oil in a wok. Dip paneer in Gram flour batter and put in wok and deep fry till golden brown. Likewise make all the pakoras.

Serve hot with green chutney.
