This is one more traditional recipe that I have learnt from my mother in law. It's an ancient recipe that was cooked in our village and loved by all the generations in our family. A very healthy and quick recipe that is served with steamed rice. The urad atta can also be prepared in advance and stored in air tight container.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Roast the whole black gram on a tawa at very low flame.
* Step 2
Switch off the stove and let the urad cool down completely.
* Step 3
Blend the roasted urad in a dry grinder to make atta and sieve it.
* Step 4
Now take the sieved atta in a wok or vessel. Add chopped onions,crushed garlic,salt,red chilli powder, Turmeric powder and water. Mix everything together. The batter should be pouring consistency.
* Step 5
Now start cooking the mixture on medium flame till it starts boiling. Add more water if the mixture thickens. Add oil and check the salt. Lower the flame and let it simmer for 5mins.
* Step 6
Garnish with chopped coriander.
Serve with hot steamed rice.
