Spicy pumpkin curry

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut pumpkin into medium size cubes

* Step 2

Keep a pan, add 2tbs oil, add pumpkin, stir cover and simmer for 10 min. Stir often

* Step 3

Remove the pieces, and add gram dal, onion, red chilli, tomato, fry for 10min, now add coconut, stir for another 5min, let it cool, and grind coarsely

Now add 2 tbs oil, add mustard seed let it splutter, add curry leaves and add ground paste

Stir well, add 1 cup of water, let it boil, and add pumpkin, mix well, cover and cook in low flame for 5min, now add tamarind paste, cover and cook until get your desire consistency and add ghee

* Step 6

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve the spicy pumpkin curry with chapathi, naan etc.
