Spinach Lasagna
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a large pot sauté your lean ground beef and your Italian sausages that have been removed from the casings until browned, drain any fat, then add your cold water ………
* Step 2
Add to meat your cold water, black pepper, oregano, basil leaves, minced garlic, chopped onion, orange pepper and sauté until tender……
* Step 3
Meanwhile in a large bowl combine your ricotta cheese, baby spinach, egg and shredded Parmesan cheese until thoroughly combined, set bowl to the side ………
* Step 4
Add to your meat your diced tomatoes and tomato paste, cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally………
* Step 5
Spray a large baking pan with olive oil cooking spray…….
* Step 6
Add a small layer of your meat sauce onto the bottom of your baking pan……
* Step 7
Layer several lasagna noodles on top of your meat sauce, then spread some of your ricotta mixture, then top with meat sauce, then top with several slices of your mozzarella cheese, continue to layer ingredients until all are used up ……..
* Step 8
Top your final layer with your sliced mozzarella cheese and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top……..
* Step 9
Cover baking pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 2 hours, then remove cover and bake until cheese is golden on top…….
* Step 10
Let cool for about 20 minutes, serve and enjoy 😉!!!!
