Broken Wheat Kheer/Porridge

Made of dalia cooked in milk and sweetened with jaggery, raisins this kheer has a very rich flavour and creamy texture, which are boosted further by spices like cardamom. The combination of dalia, milk, cardamom, raisins, almonds and grated coconut makes a perfect kheer recipe to satisfy your sweet cravings!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak the dalia (broken wheat) for 1 hour.
* Step 2
Remove the water remaining after soaking and add jaggery, grated coconut, almonds, raisins and cardamom powder.
* Step 3
Then pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flames.
* Step 4
When the steam escapes, let it cool.
* Step 5
Then, add milk and cardamom powder.
* Step 6
Garnish with almonds, grated coconut and raisins.
* Step 7
Serve immediately. Enjoy!
