Oats Kheer/ Porridge

Being high in fiber, oats porridge makes a very filling and satisfying breakfast. The combination of oats, milk, kesar (saffron), and cardamom is one to die for! This porridge is very flavourful. It is as healthy as it is tasty, and makes a good dessert too! The chopped almonds add a crunch to this yummy porridge.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 to 5 servings
1/2 cup

oats

350 ml

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

1. Lightly roast the oats for 4-5 minutes on medium flame. Then, keep aside.

* Step 2

2. Take a deep pan and heat the milk. Add sugar, kesar, cardamom powder, roasted til (sesame seeds) and the roasted oats.

* Step 3

3. Cook for 3-4 minutes stirring occasionally. Garnish with almonds and serve immediately. Enjoy!
