Easy Palestinian 🇵🇸 Manakesh

I remember the first time trying them with a cup of Mint Tea over my Palestinian friends house. It was the perfect combo and complemented the rest of the breakfast. I added fetta for the love of cheese. You can easily make it and serve it as your breakfast or Brunch highlight. This has been all gone 😋

Ingredient

5 cups

flour

2 tbs

yogurt

1 tbs

Sugar

3 tbs

olive oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, preheat your oven to 400. Add the sugar, warm water, and yeast. Leave for 5 min to activate. In a mixer add you flour, salt, yogurt, and yeast mixture. Mix until dough is formed together and a little sticky. Leave for one hour to rest.

Second, take the dough out and with your hands spread in a greased baking sheet pan. Add your olive oil first, then fetta cheese (optional), and lastly the zaatar. Bake in over for 30-35 min. Enjoy 😋
